Family, Faith, and the Heart of My Work
Family is at the center of everything I do. My husband, Stephen, is my greatest encourager, always challenging me to grow, both in business and in life. Our daughters, Madeline and Kate, inspire me daily with their kindness, strength, and deep faith. Together, we love traveling, camping, and simply enjoying time as a family, creating memories that remind me of what truly matters.
As a mother and wife, I want my daughters to see that creativity and purpose can go hand in hand. I want them to know that they are capable of using their gifts to serve others, just as I strive to do in my work.
Faith is the foundation of both my family and my business. At Ellie Claire Designs, I trust in the Lord’s guidance in every step, whether designing for a client or making decisions for my own life. Integrity, kindness, and service are at the heart of my work, and I approach each project with the same care and intentionality I would want for my own business.
A Passion for Design with Clients in Mind
My journey into web design began with a desire to give small business owners independence and autonomy over their websites. Early on, I realized that for a website to serve my clients truly, it needed to be more than functional. It needed to be beautiful, a strategic representation of their brand, one they could take pride in and confidently share. That meant creating a unique brand identity that appeals to my client and their audience while ensuring their content is clear, concise, and easy to navigate. I quickly fell in love with the creative process, knowing every project was an opportunity to craft something meaningful for my clients and myself.
Working in e-commerce and managing an Amazon storefront sharpened my skills in strategic copywriting and digital branding, giving me a deep understanding of how to communicate value in a way that drives action. I saw firsthand how effective storytelling and thoughtful design could impact a business’s success.
As I built my career, I noticed how many small business owners felt trapped by their web designers, unable to make simple updates or maintain control of their content. I knew I wanted to change that. My goal is to be a true partner for my clients, empowering them with a website that is not only stunning and effective but also easy to manage. Every website I design is built on a solid, trustworthy platform that allows business owners to grow with confidence without ever feeling stuck.
A Foundation Built on Learning and Innovation
I earned my bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida State University, where I developed a strong foundation in storytelling, branding, and small business strategy. I later completed a master’s in information from the University of South Florida, deepening my understanding of digital systems, content structure, and user experience.
As a lifelong learner, I continue to grow my skills through certifications. I have completed certifications from Flux Academy in Core Design Skills, Brand Design Mastery, Strategic Copywriting for Web Design, Web Design Master Class, and Figma for Web Designers. I continue learning through the Wix Studio Academy.
Whether building a unique brand identity, doing some graphic design work, building a custom e-commerce site, or writing conversion-focused copy, I bring curiosity, creativity, and a commitment to learning into every project. I can't wait to start my next project with YOU!
